CONTEST  “PRE-FAB HOUSE OF THE YEAR”

Contest “Pre-Fab House of the Year” is organized by Estonian Woodhouse Association and Estonian Wooden Houses Cluster since 2010 and was held for the 11th time in 2021.

Houses presented to the contest have to be factory-built by Estonian company with the main construction manufactured from wood. Houses presented to the contest were assessed based on the following criteria: 

• architectural work (including subcriteria like originality of the buildings architecture, functionality and user-friendliness, use of materials);
  
• engineering work (including subcriteria like constructive solutions and originality, technical solutions and originality, energy efficiency).
